How Guard works

Already past the basics?

Not every organization needs to start with a Check.

If you already have a recent assessment or an internal IT team, or you know you need 24/7 managed protection, start with a conversation. We will tell you honestly whether a Check, Guard or something else fits.

Something wrong right now?

If you think you are compromised, start here.

Guard customers: your enrolled systems are monitored around the clock, and serious threats follow your documented escalation process.

Not a Guard customer? Our contact form and inbox are not an emergency line, so do not wait on a reply from us before taking the steps here.

  1. Money may have moved? Call your bank and payment processor now. Speed matters for recalling wire transfers and card fraud.
  2. Have cyber insurance? Call the claims or breach hotline on your policy before hiring anyone. Many policies require their approved responders.
  3. Call your IT provider. Ask them to preserve logs and evidence. Do not wipe or rebuild machines yet.
  4. Report it. Fraud and intrusions can be reported to the FBI at ic3.gov. Contact local law enforcement if a crime is in progress.

Hands-on incident response and forensics are scoped separately. Once the immediate situation is contained, talk to a security advisor about assessment, recovery and ongoing protection.

Know where you're exposed before someone else finds out.

A 2A Cyber Check gives you an independent view of your security posture, the evidence behind every finding, and a prioritized plan for what to fix first.
